Turner's huge painting of storm and avalanche looks like the right hand of God in the sky-- palm up. On this website, this painting serves as a moving background for God and Satan taunting each other over what is wrong with the Republicans in America

God exclaims in fury–

What’s wrong with Republican morals?
–Satan mocks

The menace– a dagger at the throat of American democracy

Do you know what is wrong with Republican morals?– because I need your help, please, in untangling this Republican threat to democracy in America.

Each of you has a personal meaning and definition for morality. And your exact words that you use from your own set of values can help America deal with this woe. Accordingly, we will talk about what you need for writing your own book and website about this danger– that is, the Republicans keep trying to cancel out the democratic vote.[1]

Now in 2025, the Republicans have used lies to take over the Presidency, the Congress, and the Supreme Court! Where have you been? Did you vote for this?

In an extreme graphic, the Republicans force a dagger at the throat of American democracy. Why? What is happening? Help us think through this threat.

(the Republican side of my family speaks first) “This is a big deal in my family. We war with each other around the Thanksgiving table– over whether God’s law prohibits abortion everywhere[2] — which it does. Second, we need to force God’s law into public school education– with real exams– and a real F if you don’t give the right answer– at least as a teach the controversy. And then we need to face the truth, namely evolution is a myth invented by evil scientists.”

Maybe. But why can’t this be just a friendly competition, a back-and-forth between fans of the Texas team against the Yankee team? If we can ignore the near death of America on [January 6th], then surely we could join hands in unity around a friendly family dinner. And so, why can’t Democracy vs Republicanism be just another fun competition game?

The danger: If fixed on [God’s law], the Republicans will destroy civilization

(from the opposite side– the doom-side of the room) “The food is good, and the cooks are fantastic– But we will kill each other before Republicanism will accept that majority vote can change whether God’s law reigns supreme in the land.”

Amen. Yes.

“Well come on! Please suggest some way out of this! I am at war with my parents.”

The escape: Republican parents love their children. Hence, the wise ten-year-old can reach the human inside the Republican furor– by careful listening, compassion, and engineering-inventor’s trial-and-error.

Do you love your parents?

“Yes, but it gives me a headache to hear my parents’ angry and frustrated shouts whenever they lose– righteous anger about democracy stealing the last election. People voted. What do you want from democracy?”

So you wish that Republicanism would be more realistic– Is that it?

Your words can add important details in your own book and your website. Most importantly, write about what you see that we must understand. What is wrong with Republican morals? Or maybe you think Republicans are right. Then write that! Explain your vote in detail, please. This whole website is a simulation of the intervention and assessment of progress that you can do with current technology using your own words, your ideas of reality, morals, and civilization.

“There may be some real hurt here. I think I want the Republicans to act more like adults. An adult should act responsibly. But today’s Republicanism acts irresponsibly like the bull elephant in a china shop. Again, Republicanism crashes everything around as if God gave Republicans the right to crush everything.”

There you have an example of the deeply engrained Republican imitation of property. Can you give me a recent incident? Let’s start our discovery with the last ten years so that we all start from the same facts. And many of these facts we remember from just the last few yesterdays.

“But the facts of Republicanism are different from the facts of democracy.”

Different facts? Republicans obsess on breaking their bondage to reality. Therefore they try to create something better from made-up [facts].

What about the number of votes for Trump and Biden? What therein is the sin? What is the offense against God?

“The big sin different between democracy and Republicanism is how many [legal votes] Biden got. For example, God does not want some colors of people to vote, you see– so those votes are [illegal]. Get it? America is a republic and not a democracy. . . . And I see from your transcript display screen that you altered what I said by putting brackets around [legal votes]. Why?”

I put brackets around the [independent variable]– which is the [x] in the broken module of the Republican brain. We are headed toward a computer model of What the Hell is wrong with the Republicans.

Republicans are cruel with their [facts]– for they cannot understand what Trump tried to force on Zelensky and the Ukraine. This is not sin that condemns Republican morals; this is simply a mental defect. Have some compassion for your Republican parents.

“I can tell you what is wrong with the Republicans– The Republicans are just selfish and cruel and power hungry.”

Does anybody here have parents who both voted for Trump?

“Yes. Mine did.”

And were your parents selfish and cruel and power hungry?

“No. But they beat me to keep me on the right path.”

Republican parents expect to force crazy [facts] on kids– particularly when the parents are wrong. And on seeing the forcing, the ten-year-old notices what is wrong with Republican morals– but does not have a word for it, yet.

Were your parents right about the right path?

“No. Absolutely not– They were absolutely wrong– Look at the last eight years– Now we have living examples for you to see. On that record of what happened in the Trump Administration, Republicanism is morally wrong. My Republican parents beat me regularly, but they never beat me for anything that I did that was wrong.”

So what was wrong with your parents?

(another voice from the other side of the room) “My parents were pretty much right. But they surely did not vote for anything having to do with that Trump!” (laughter in the room)

Ok. I hear you. I am neutral– and I strive to show compassion for both the democrats and the Republicans in this predicament.

Neutrality on God’s law and religion

“How can you possibly remain neutral when the Republicans do such reprehensible things? Look at the reprehensible judges the Republicans have forced onto the federal courts– against the votes of the majority of Americans.”

Reprehensible, those justices that Mr_T appointed, yes!

(from the other side) “What! And you say you’re neutral?”

What would I have to do to fit your idea of neutral?

“You failed at being neutral when you said that Trump’s justices are reprehensible. That is just an opinion of yours as a sinner.”

Neutral means that I apply the law to what just happened. Somebody hit the pitch. The ball went into the stands clearly outside the baseline. So that is out– and I am neutral.

“On the other hand, I’m a Republican, and you completely misunderstand American law. Despite what you say, American law is and always will be based on religion– the true religion.”[3]

Religion instructs American law– maybe– if the godless heathen surrender to God’s law

Possibly, religion reigns supreme in America. But if the godless heathen throw religion out– then what happens? Suppose the godless heathen win the election.

“You are twisting what I said.”

Notwithstanding the many expert final reports, let’s make your website– like unto this one– but with your words. That is democracy. That is your vote.

I tell you what– I am neutral. Therefore, we will help you write your own book about how religion is indispensable to the success of the Biden Administration. But that is your book.

“Why are you trying to cut religion out of American culture?”

Religion is an indicator, not a cause

Religion has a place. Accordingly, in this discussion I ask you please to teach me what it will take for all of us to have a peaceful communion around the Thanksgiving table– all of our views– with our parents and siblings and cousins.

“We would have to get rid of this coronavirus division first.”

Ok.

“Nonetheless, the Republicans refuse to deal with the facts– even the facts of viruses.”

Do you know why?

“You want me to be more tolerant?”

Not necessarily. How many in the room had confrontations with a Republican mom or dad who could not deal with reality? (several hands rise with advice)

“I finally just stopped talking back. I tried to change the subject.”

How did that work?

“Infuriating. I was boiling over inside. Not good.”

Going along with all you have said, Republicanism triggers that boiling-over health problem– because according to Republicanism, you, the ten-year-old, have to submit even when your parents are wrong and you are right. Accordingly, to avoid that boiling-over-inside health problem, let me suggest something different from just falling silent. Save yourself first– so that then, you can help save the Republicans in your life.

“It does no good to talk back to their Republican nonsense.”

When facing Republican nonsense– (or Democratic nonsense if you feel that way)– it helps for you to switch to hearing the melody– the emotion in the voices– Skip the words in the lyric for now. The Republicanism lyric is infuriating even to a wise ten-year-old– but you can find relief by shifting to hear only the melody behind the infuriating lyric.

Now what you say is true, I concede to you– It does no good to argue with what the Republican says. Nonetheless, you will find a new level of [love, communion, influence, clarity] if you can hear your parents’ nonsense with compassion.

“Surely you are kidding me. The Republicans stand in the well of the Senate and hoot out their sermon like howlers with a mic– defending what no sense of morals could possibly defend. And my parents watch that spectacle on television and take heart that they have not lost their once and only President.”

Where is my simulation team?

(a voice from the side of the room) “When your Republicanism parents shut you off so that you cannot cast your vote and cannot speak for what you know to be true . . . .”

Some people in the room just grimaced with pain.

(the other side of the room) “I just groaned with a pain in my stomach. You are pushing people’s buttons.”

Take heart. We are all on your side.

To my simulation team– Go on please. Do you have some advice for the ten-year-0lds in the room? That is where this boiling-over conflict started– at about ten– for each of us in this room and for those reading the transcript on this website.

“There are two important moments in that confrontation with your Republican mom or dad who will not listen to science, logic, or the morals of civilization. First, there is the hearing moment– you need simulations to practice hearing the emotion instead of the infuriating Republicanism lyric.”

(several hands rise in objection)

I know that sounds unfair– but let’s let our simulation team complete this idea, please.

“The second moment for the ten-year-old to practice is joining into the parent’s tirade– join in agreement– when it is safe to do so– echoing the particular infuriating Republican lyric that your parent has chosen at the moment.”

Here, the eye of the hurricane …

And the group drives the storm’s eye– the alpha-apparent.

Trump does not drive the Republicans. Likewise, the eye does not drive the destruction by hurricane.

Symptoms in America:

Helpless, the Republicans surrender to their particle natures without morals and whirl around the 2025 [Trump] not even seeing the system that drives them to their fate.

From a balcony high above the nation, you can watch the system that propels the self-coordination of molecules to make the 2025 [Trump] at the center of destruction. There is nothing special about the [Trump] or the alpha male chimpanzee or the eye of the hurricane. Any detectable command would be merely shouting into the face of the wind that carrieth away all speakers.

From an even higher view, if you look down on the whole world from space, you can see the new raging storms seeded by the same ancient republican gene set of Anti-woman, Anti-science, and Anti-reality– congregating at the many destructive storm sites around the world– in the deserts, in the steppes, in the kremlins, in the frigid zones, in the absolutes.

Look at the front pages of your favorite newspapers, and you will get the pictures

Symptoms worldwide:

Helpless, the republicans surrender to their particle natures without morals and whirl around the one at a time [only alpha male].

We are all cousins from eight million years ago– all three lines of our living cousins: the chimpanzees, the [Trump] Republicans, and the democrats.

And in this year 2025, the democrats have to be ready to care for our living cousins of the other two lines– because they often become incompetent.

Have compassion, please, my friends.

[Trump] Republicans become incompetent because they cannot overcome their inherited temptations to devalue women, turn science and logic upside down, and declare themselves free from having to care for the earth.

Let us keep in mind that the [Trump] Republican genes– and their consequent mental defect– comprise about 50% of the 2025 human genome– around the world even– and back for at least 8 million years, judging from the trails of human DNA left in skulls where and when as the ancestors of all of our living cousins outside Africa migrated– some willingly and some unwillingly– from the basin of what is now called the Congo River.

What Is Wrong with Republican Morals! (top)

The menace and the escape

The danger: If fixed on [God’s law], the Republicans will destroy civilization

The escape: Republican parents love their children. Hence, the wise ten-year-old can reach the human inside the Republican furor.

Your words can add important details in your own book and your website. Most importantly, write about what you see that we must understand so that we can avoid this big threat.

Different facts? Republicans obsess on breaking their bondage to reality. Therefore they try to create something better from made-up [facts].

Republicans are cruel with their [facts]– for they cannot understand what Trump tried to force on Zelensky and the Ukraine

Republican parents expect to force crazy [facts] onto kids– particularly when the parents are wrong

Neutrality on God’s law and religion

Religion instructs American law– maybe– if the godless heathen surrender to God’s law

Notwithstanding the many expert final reports, let’s make your website– like unto this one– but with your words. That is democracy. That is your vote.

Religion is an indicator, not a cause

When facing Republican nonsense– (or Democratic nonsense if you feel that way)– it helps for you to switch to hearing the melody– the emotion in the voices– skip the words in the lyric for now. The Republicanism lyric is infuriating even to a wise ten-year-old– but you can find relief by shifting to hear only the melody behind the infuriating lyric.

Take heart. We are all on your side.

Maybe don’t argue with the lyric– Instead, join in– singing with the opera around you

Listen to the opera again: The harmonies in the winds are not necessarily in the same key

Someone has to be willing to deal with reality

Above all, be kind to your dad, like Siegfried in that opera clip. For example, when you have to break his power sword, respect him as an actor in his rôle. That is, pick up the pieces and leave them where your dad can hoist them and leave the stage gracefully.

With Republican parents, the adult responsibility falls to the child

What happens to the Presidential woman

From that King James book: He shall rule over thee

Instead of cause and effect, preaching is the proof that Republicans believe. Mr_T is just a good preacher, nothing more.

Bizarre troubles, yes. But Republican genes are half of the human genome. Now, what do we do?– What will you say in your book and on your website?

In summary, the Republicans are special and require special care.

God is a conspiracy theory– One among many to trust

But my neutrality means I will worship God with you when it helps solve the problem

Accordingly, please advise me on how I should write my book– and this website

I need your help in fixing the mistakes of God and evolution

For example, to mainstream the Republicans forward to 2025

Or deal with why women are not paid for their work

What would help the Republicans feel like a part of civilization

Why Clinton lost the election

Are the democrats any better than Republicans?

Why ask ten-year-olds? We have in common the experience of being ten. Furthermore, at ten, we had the first glimmers of how to fix the mistakes of God and evolution. Let’s express those fixes clearly. Your word means the salvation of civilization.

The first author wrote that the first man was made from “dirty” so she named him “Dirt.” Similarly, we will analyze in terms of “right on!” and “write on paper.”

Along that line, for your own website, you might try WordPress with an Astra theme and a parallax plugin

For, in this modern context, the ten-year-olds have to start being steady and moral examples to show their Republican parents the way

Only preaching provides Republican proof

Democrats are capable of using science to break the alpha male’s filibuster

Here, we develop English phrases to be useful for all parties

Compare democrats with Republicans

Consider the first author. After whom would she pattern her character God? After her king, her seducer, the father of her son, the murderer of her husband?

Similarly, what story or movie could you use to get across your best ideas for protecting whatever is valuable for you?

From the King James book: “The Lord is longsuffering . . . , visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.” (Numbers 14:18)

So, what’s wrong with Roe v. Wade?– The Roe v Wade Court taught the Republicans how to overthrow democracy– And the Republicans learned

Despite feeling good intentions, Republicans find freedom at main force by restricting the freedom of women

From all of the above, the democrats need to develop protected structures against the mechanics of the next Hurricanes [Trump]

[Trump] voters will not notice the deception of the Republican preacher

To Republicans, the fastest way to get a majority vote is to get just the five votes on their Supreme Court

The power of the Garden of Eden: Recalling our ancestors’ memory of the loss of their free fruit trees eight million years ago along the eastern basin of the Congo River

Taking away women’s rights satisfies a hunger primeval

The Republicans are blameless because they cannot track the cause and effect of their own action or inaction

Group processes trap individuals and force submission, even in physical events like freezing– and turning the innocent air and water into a destructive hurricane

Oblivious, Republicans feel no personal responsibility if their preacher assures them that [God or the market] did it

A hidden shout hangs in the air: What the Hell did [Trump] voters expect!

In particular, democracy can be the problem-solving mechanism– Getting work and progress from public deliberation.

Democracy, as a technology, can work against the chaos of nature– where that work must include the taming of human nature

Engineers of physics, chemistry, and medicine can provide us with trees of knowledge– technologies of what is possible–witness this website– giving us the power to make a choice between good and evil

Ranked voting might improve elections– What similar technology would improve the filibuster situation?

Getting everyone to write a personal true book and true website could bring the highest quality evidence into the public discourse

Taking a cue from our ten-year-olds, let’s try to reach the human inside our parents, our Republicans

Personal statement? Yes, thanks

Maybe don’t argue with the lyric– Instead, join in– singing with the opera around you

What you might do is duets and trios and quartets with whatever Republicans are howling around you right now. As an example, have you heard me offer to join with your opera as you write your own book– opposed to mine?– Do something like that. In summary, if you can free yourself of argument with the lyrics, then you may be able to dig the brutal beauty and opera of the music.

“Would I just sing Ahhh?”

More than that– Your parents are true believers, right?

“In that regard, one is a kind of faithful– and the other, a kind of atheist, or agnostic, or a free-market freak. But certainly both are true believers in their own personal conspiracy theory that puts all the blame on some Satan– or immigrants– or deficit spending– or socialism, whatever conspiracy that is– or accuses the world bankers of stealing the election– depending on the day of the week.”

Listen to the opera again: The harmonies in the winds are not necessarily in the same key

Can’t you just garble up the English language like your Republicans do?– half of the time. They get a turn, don’t they?– You might sing their song with them.

“But– It’s just nonsense– this stolen-election preaching. Not a single court made logical sense out of that preaching.”

How even more infuriating to the freaked Republicans!– to get all of those rejections from the world’s courts– Think of your parents’ pain with all of that rejection. So can’t you as an act of love for your mad Republican parents help them sing their song of pain?

“What could I do?”

You need a simulation– like unto a flight simulator– a metaverse– a practice field– a rehearsal hall– where you can try– safely– a blending technique– such as [completing your parent’s melody]– like in that duet between the god father and the god son in the opera video that you can see in the right column of your display, if you can reduce your font and pinch the display width of this column of text.

Echo their syllables, even with a foreign accent– Your voice may sound strange with Republican lyrics– Even so, that foreign accent may be the best that you can do in imitation. Beyond that, if you are even more adventuresome, practice the rôle of a Fox News host and interrupt with your own nonsense melodic line that imitates the sounds of their words, but not real words– an advanced form of foxy rap. Complete your Republican’s melody, no matter the lyric. Can you understand the lyrics in that video of the opera? But the music is great, isn’t it? You might get Haydn sometimes– and in one alternative, Richard Wagner sometimes. Ignore the words in the lyrics.

“You mean a Trump rally?”

Sure, that too.  In any case, a nonsense howling match– with refrains and responses.  Wild wolves howling in the desert– Let yourself go with the canine cheers and screams– but no more domineering than the howling Republicans around you–  something like joining as an equal the raucous crowds watching a guillotine– or a Roman circus– or a [Trump] rally.  All of those howling ensembles are very human.  Think of the full extreme of your parents’ nightmare– with full orchestra accompaniment– all arguing at the same time sometimes– a kind of pentecost– a speaking-in-tongues with all of the official glossolalia.  That is, it will be obvious that the Republicans are not talking about the same thing.

Who is willing to deal with reality?

“Wait! I hope you are not encouraging the ten-year-olds to get captured by the extreme brutality of a Trump rally.”

Kids have to be self-governing, would you agree? And going to a Trump rally certainly would give the ten-year-old an experience of being in the pull of the destructive hurricane– the pull of the conversion effect from the destructive hurricane that Republicanism creates today, in 2025. However, I don’t think a wise ten-year-old would fall for Mr_T’s lies. Hence, going to a T_rally would be a good field trip for a science club– Take notes!

(lo, the Republican side of the room) “Disgusting your bias!”

Even so, those January 6 videos of Mr_T purposefully triggering that trashing of the US Capitol building is very human– and the [January 6] insurrection is a reality of threats to the politics in every civilized country in this world– Always has been. So please give me suggestions on what would be helpful for you– and for the Senate, the House, the Supreme Court, the UN. What tool, algebra, or model works best to untangle that destruction-engine of [January 6]?– hurricane, simulation, wind-tunnel, revival meeting, algebra, faith, original sin, teach the controversy– For the final word, maybe your new suggestion will prove best . . .? And by all means, let us help you write your own book– with the right words– your words– and your own website highlighting whatever important evidence that we have missed here– thanks.

“This troubles me that the FatherFigure in that video clip you showed to us– comes at the boy with the long spear– Seriously!”

You can get the sound in a separate tab in your browser at this link. After the separate tab has opened, you can repeat the sound of this segment merely by refreshing the separate tab. Closing the separate tab brings you back here.

Above all, be kind to your dad, like Siegfried in that opera clip. For example, when you have to break his power sword, respect your grand dad as an actor in his rôle. That is, pick up the pieces and leave them where your dad can hoist them and leave the stage gracefully.

Yes to the seriousness of this. But notice, please! The actors taking the rôles in that opera video actually demonstrate great care for each other– don’t do this with your dad until he passes the difficult test of assuring you that he will protect you throughout the whole scene no matter how much anger he sings in how he shakes his woolly locks at you. From that video, both actors have to respect the rightness of the other’s expression– because they are aware– aware that both are part of the same opera. Accordingly, both actors protect the person taking the opposition rôle. Compare that duty-to-protect with the brutality of the January 6 videos of the invading Republicans throwing angry cokes and flagpoles as spears to hit the duty cops in the head– bing, like a flash– Not fair at all! That is wrong.

“So what is missing from Republican morals?”

Anybody have an idea?

“Using the metaphor of the opera video, the Republicans take their berserk rôle of [God or market] to be more important than the health and well-being of their own children.”

Maybe.

Falsifiable hypothesis: For the next decade from January 2025, neutrality will reject each and every Republican request for [preaching or teaching the controversy]– because Republicans will request [preaching or teaching the controversy] only when reality rejects their controversy

(in opposition from the back) “On the other hand, I would attest that there is nothing wrong with Republican morals. So get back to the real problem!”

In response, I will help you. We’ll get you volunteers to help you write that viewpoint– gladly. But that would be your book. Accordingly, we might find much to learn from your book and website. In particular, I am concerned that there might be something that we don’t understand here. How could you possibly vote for anything like a Mr_T– What are you thinking? That is, I have many questions. Maybe you would like to use a format like unto this discussion. If so, we will provide you a working template for this website so that you can adapt it to detail all the pieces of your vote. To the smallest detail, you can replace the words in the paragraphs here as you need for your own copyright– to clarify what you want to tell us– with good graphics in the right-hand column to get your idea across. Is that a deal?

With Republican parents, the adult responsibility falls to the child

“Not so fast. Let’s take this seriously– What could the child do if his parents voted for Trump?”

You are right that this is serious business. (pause) Suppose the parents voted for Mr_T– then the child has the opportunity to take responsibility for the mental defect of the parents. Accordingly, the child can look ahead– and plan to avoid the overpowering evil the child knows will tempt the Republican.

“Not realistic.”

Look to your own experience and memory of being ten-years-old. I will take seriously what you tell me.

“How about women? It is obvious that you don’t have rôles for women in your videos.”

My various teams have varied ideas; they will speak for themselves. I hope some of you will write that book and website about women, maybe using the technology my team has assembled for you to adapt– in this room, and on this website. Please leave your comments about the purpose and outline of your book and your website, and we will discuss it– How can we fix the mistakes that God and evolution have made? And thank you.

“What does this tell us about the strange actions of the Republicans in Washington?”

(pause) We will get to that soon! But look at what we have uncovered about the forces of this hurricane within our own families– among our varied cousins.

“I cannot believe how united against women the Republicans have been for the last four years– eight years– even further back than that!– forever.”

What happens to the Presidential woman

So far, how can we use the dynamics around our limited Thanksgiving family gatherings?

“Thanksgivings past– You should have heard the hate thrown at the woman in 2016 who had the audacity to run for President!”

That hate of the Presidential woman is part of Republican natural law, as backed up by the law of God the magnificent.

“Oh, of course, you mean the Bible, right?”

From that King James book: He shall rule over thee

No, I do not mean the Bible. I mean that King James book– (reading from the King James teleprompter)– Unto the woman God said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. . . . And I ask you, Is that fair?

“That’s not fair! You are trying to convict the Republicans of gender bias against women, and that verse fails– because that verse does not do gender bias on women, and you know it. The next verse . . . .”

Sure, sure. Maybe God is just exercising his First Amendment rights, okay?– and He shall rule over thee. How do those words make you feel?

“My family prayed that God would do some miracle and lock Hillary Clinton out of the 2016 White House. They said, I hate her. I hate her! God hates her.”

Instead of cause and effect, preaching is the proof that Republicans believe. Mr_T is just a good preacher, nothing more.

Finally, Trump said, Go down to the Capitol, and I shall be with thee.

“I cannot believe how bizarre the Republicans have been about that holy mob that took over the Capitol building and . . . .”

Hold it!– please. We will get to that. How about our families? Was there anything bizarre about how our families reacted to that holy mob? How about the Confederate flags and Hang Pence chants?

“Nothing bizarre in my family.”

Are you a Republican?

“No.”

Nothing bizarre in your family? Then neither your mother nor father voted for Trump.

“That’s right. The Republicans who broke the windows and beat down the doors of the Capitol are the bizarre ones.”

Bizarre troubles, yes. But Republican genes are half of the human genome. Now, what do we do?– What will you say in your book and on your website?

Bizarre, you say? Maybe not. Busting windows and delivering [God’s] shock and awe is absolutely normal behavior for part of the human genome– absolutely normal for our cousins, the Republicans.

“(from somewhere in the middle of the room) Do you mean the Republicans of today?– or the Republicans of Abraham Lincoln’s day.”

I would like to emphasize that we all– all of us in this room– descended from the same ancestors– about fifty thousand moms and dads who lived all at the same time– a long time ago in Africa– in the basin– the drainage basin of the Congo River.

“I have some Neanderthal genes in my ancestry– according to my ancestry genetic test.”

Ok. But those Neanderthal genes still originated in Africa– migrating from the basin of the Congo River– even the ancestral genes that rejoined our other cousins in southern France and then much later on became you. And now– today– we must care for our living cousins, the Republicans.

“Wait a minute! Are you kidding me? I am a Republican– and several others of us in this room are Republicans who voted for Trump– and we voted for Trump again and again in 2020 and 2024. So watch what you are saying!”

In summary, the Republicans are special and require special care.

Respectfully, madam, I am saying that all of us here– since we are doing the real work that many of humankind around the world have been avoiding in these days of dissonance– All of us here must care for our cousins, those with the Republican genes– in every country– even in Russia– even in Russia– cursed by the Putin sub-set of republican genes. We must handle the Republicans in careful ways like we must care for our babies that we can accidentally break– We must treat our Republicans like people that cannot yet take responsibility for themselves in this complex and very confusing world of fast machines and nuclear bombs.

“Stop! Stop! I am sure you would like to be neutral. But it seems to me that you are putting a heavier burden on the Democrats. The Democrats have to care for the poor Republicans? P-lease . . . .”

That’s right– because the Republicans are incompetent– crazy– because in our democracy the Republicans will wreck civilization if they win the election. Look at the hurricanes against democracy that regularly self-organize among the Republicans all over the U S of A. How about the Republican US Supreme Court throwing the election to Bush, the younger back around 2000?– against the majority of votes, by the way.

“I think a better approach would be to chastise the Republicans into acting like responsible adults.”

God is a conspiracy theory– One among many to trust

Let me give you a simple hypothesis– a working hypothesis. What is wrong with Republican morals? Please help me think through all of this.

“Let’s have it.”

The mental defect of the Republicans is– the Republicans cannot comprehend [the system] that gave us birth.

“There! (pointing) Look again at your transcription screen! You inserted brackets around [the system].”

Yes, I did. Here is why . . . . You can help me think through the huge problems of the last eight years even if you supply your own term for [the system] that gave us birth.

“How about [God] who gave us birth? You’re a coward.”

But my neutrality means I will worship God with you when it helps solve the problem

Sure. I would have no problem worshipping in your mosque, or synagogue, or church– if you will help me as you are here today– developing mechanisms for helping the Republicans get out of the mess that they are in today.

“How can we help you?”

Accordingly, please advise me on how I should write my book– and this website

If you would be so kind, advise me on how you think I should change my book and the page you are reading right now– What next do you need to know?– so that what you read is more useful to you– for the problem-solving you do with the people in your life. From time to time I will ask you specific questions; I value highly your answers; your answers give me the best insights into reality. I keep sound file recordings of what you say– I consult your writings and the recordings of what you have said– to speed my slow learning when you give me permission. Thanks. You may recognize your words– or your rhythms, even from my editing.

“What do you think of when you use your term [the system] that gave us birth?”

First in time, I think Genesis sketches an excellent algebraic view of [the system] that gave us birth– In particular, the genealogy, the generations, the cousins, the variables– Plus, poetic and memorable causes for the obvious flaws in God’s handiwork.

I need your help in fixing the mistakes of God and evolution

“Mistakes?– What obvious flaws?”

Anti-woman, anti-science, and anti-reality– Look at every one of the Trump voters, even the Republican survivors in the House, Senate, governorships, state legislators, federal, state judges and Supreme Court– Anti-woman, anti-science, and anti-reality– all of which a Genesis diagnosis measures as mentally defective.

“Measures? How?”

Sure– Give the diagnostic test– Just give any Trump voter seven minutes to explain [the system] that gave us birth– They wander off into a wilderness of conspiracy theories that bluntly contradict the texts that they use to try to convert you.

“That’s not fair! You are saying that God created the heaven and the earth is a conspiracy theory?”

In short . . . Yes. But let’s remember the purpose of having this discussion– We want to establish some indicators among those of us who want to mainstream the Republicans, particularly our Republican parents as our first simulation– mainstream our [parents] into civilization. What can we do?– How do we measure if we are making progress? Suppose we take seriously the challenge of mainstreaming our Republican parents into the responsibilities and honors and privileges of civilization.

For example, to mainstream the Republicans forward to 2025

“Parents won’t like that!”

You have to be careful– loving– and compassionate. How many in this room have already gone through this with your parents?– getting your parents out of their depression and anger. (several hands rise with advice) What did you do that worked?

“I was very frustrated.”

How did it end for you?

“No end. I gave up on trying to fix my dad and cheer my mom. But it was not a dead end. I discovered how to cry with my mom– and sing with my dad.”

What do you do if your child cannot see?

Or deal with why women are not paid for their work

“My mom and dad were my charges, yes– and my mom and dad had defects– maybe mental defects– individual defects– they could not see– they could not understand– That made it really difficult for them to vote for anything other than some preacher of an outlandish religion– or they voted for the delusional healing powers of markets.”

Markets?

“Some of us have Republican parents that are atheists– And the Republican atheists have the warped idea of Let go and Let the markets. Deregulate– get government out of the markets– and that will make it turn out all right. But agriculture won’t work that way– The weeds take over.”

Maybe…. So, for the atheist Republicans, the [market] substitutes for the variable [God]?

“What does that mean?”

The questions before us are– What do the Republicans see?– And then, what do they want? On top of that, what will make the Republicans feel a part of civilization again? Toward this end– in our computer model for What the hell is wrong with the Republicans, the Republicans cannot comprehend [the system] that gave us birth.

What would help the Republicans feel like a part of civilization

“I think you are wrong about Republicans. I am a Republican, and I comprehend as much as you do about God, and I comprehend a whale of a lot more than you do about the market.”

Yes. I thank you for coming today to help us in this discussion. Given that your daughter and son voted against Trump, what is it that your son and daughter do not understand about you?

“I want my son and daughter to get right with God.”

Ok. Don’t you think your daughter should understand why the market does not pay her for her work?

“My daughter gets paid– Plenty.”

How about you? Did the market pay you for your work in parenting such a valuable daughter?

“No. I had to sue the hell out of my ex to get what belonged to me– and his attorney tried to cheat me every way that he could.”

So what happened to Clinton?

Why Clinton lost the election

(from the other side of the room) “I could not believe the press not noticing– The press did not notice that the Republicans attacked Hillary Clinton whenever she got progress on getting women paid for the work that they do!”

How do you mean? Can you give us an example?

“Sure. Can you put up on the screen that citation I gave you?– Hillary Clinton had just organized that series of United Nations conferences that had gotten many women all over the world to understand how the markets cheat women– so that women are not paid for the value that they deliver to markets.”

(mumbling, then groans in the room)

I would appreciate it if you would hold your feminist comments for a different session, ok?

(with a certain righteous fury) “I’m not making a feminist comment. I am making an observable economic statement. Pay attention! The markets do not pay women for the value that women deliver to the market.”

Maybe. Can you give me a good best example of what you mean by observable?

“Sure. Here is a falsifiable hypothesis– In 1970– before blind auditions– the best conductors of the New York Philharmonic could not hear the quality in Beethoven’s music when they saw a woman play it. So the demand side of the free market is screwed up– The free market does not respond to the quality in a woman’s work–The whole Republican agenda is infested with Anti-woman crap.”

Are the democrats any better than Republicans?

Maybe the Republicans are just biased against women. The Republicans have a warped moral obsession about women staying barefoot and pregnant in the man’s kitchen– for only charity pay, by the way.

“You think the Democrats are any better? Who has to spend their time taking care of the democratic kids?”

Yes, I know what you mean. It’s always supposed to be Mom that does the round-the-clock.

“But that is the way that God created Adam and Eve.”

But God clearly got it wrong– Wrong for modern times.

“That’s what You say. And you are wrong.”

Yes, I will keep that in mind. So what advice do we give to our ten-year-olds?

“Why do you focus on ten-year-olds?”

Why ask ten-year-olds? We have in common the experience of being ten. Furthermore, at ten, we had the first glimmers of how to fix the mistakes of God and evolution. Let’s express those fixes clearly. Your word means saving the world.

Around ten, each of us has a clear vision of how to fix the mistakes that God has made– For this reason, we have the beginning glimmer of what direction we should take. Then something happens . . . .

“You have deliberately selected the people in this room so that half of us know that God was right and You are wrong.”

Yes. Thanks. That is democracy. And my challenge is to get all of us to write what we know is right– That is what democracy is about– Expression– Personal expression. Each of us is a light– and each of us is right.

“Perhaps you think you are making a pun– Each of us has rights. That is the right way to define democracy. We have rights under the Constitution to keep the government out of our free markets, and to keep the government out of our state.”

I feel quite free, yes, in punning right and rights and right on— and write on paper— because that is how that Lady wrote that first draft of that King James book. Puns and puns and more puns.

“Can you explain that?”

The first author wrote that the first man was made from “dirty” so she named him “Dirt,” namely “Adam”– check the original drafts of that King James Book. Similarly, we will analyze in terms of “right on!” and “write on paper.”

Many of us in this room are writing books and making websites. Our first task is to put each of us on the right path for writing our own books– and our discussions– and web sites– This is what democracy is. So we present to you, in this moment, on this website a computer simulation of [the system] of democracy– hundreds of people alive– and with a transcript, in a legislative session and multitudes beyond these walls, in a 24 by 7 news analysis. Shake hands with your neighbor, fist bump, hand-wave, grin . . . .

“In that first screen, how did you make the mountains run from my mouse pointer, and then the screen filled with Trump rioters and faded into us having this discussion?”

Along that line, for your own website, you might try WordPress with an Astra theme and a parallax plugin

I will give you the details later– It is like the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil– You can make a moral choice only if you have the technology to change the path of reality– by making a choice– by making a choice in how you use the technology that actually can change reality.

“Yes. But the Republicans clearly– judging from what happened in the Trump administration– the Republicans have no knowledge– not even a glimmer of conscience– or even an ability to distinguish any difference between good and evil.”

Would you say that Democrats are any better?

(a wise witch[4] in the middle of the room speaks) “I would like to add some admiration for all the parents of the people in this room.”

And of all those reading . . . .

(ignoring the interruption) “Too many of us in this room are encouraging kids to challenge their parents’ voting– and the kids will try to referee the rants of their parents across opposite ends of the dinner table– and will judge their parents’ prayers made to God . . . . Whoa! (pointing up to the transcription screen) I see that you altered the transcript screen up there to characterize me, even with a footnote to Samuel, as a wise witch. That’s not fair.”

So what would a responsible adult do?

For, in this modern context, the ten-year-olds have to start being steady and moral examples to show their Republican parents the way

“I would hope that you– (pointing)– and I do mean you— would recognize the rights of Republican parents to discipline their wayward children. No ten-year old should be allowed to break free of godly parents to go the way of atheist swine.”

Oh, okay– that would be your book– and I will help you write that book– I will help you write that book the way that you want to write it– and that would be your song. But what would you suggest for a ten-year old?– what should the ten-year old do if her mom and dad won’t let her learn the physics of reality?– Should she study it at night under the bed covers with a flashlight? It’s wicked isn’t it according to that King James book– learning real physics– real math– real biology.

“When that ten-year old grows up to be twenty-one, then and only then does the ten-year old have the right to join the marketplace in ideas and preach his own gospel– even the gospel of science.”

Only preaching provides Republican proof

Republican morals are feeble in the face of reality– because Republicans reject reality. And consequently, Republicans can find their way only by searching through the commands of some fiery preacher– and Republicans can’t follow the plain text– particularly the Republicans on the Supreme Court. So have some compassion for the challenge that Republicans face in the modern world of science and cause and effect!

“There you go again! You are implying that Democrats are more capable than Republicans. Stop it.”

Democrats are capable of using science to break the alpha male’s filibuster

I am merely insisting that democrats are capable of this task of organizing the rescue of civilization– because the democrats demonstrate a comprehension of [the system] that gave us birth– enough so that the democrats are capable of caring for the system. They have to include care for the humanity of the Republicans who periodically– without knowing why– organize themselves into Republican hurricanes of destruction– just as we saw in the last four years of the Trump administration– and floating on and on into the furors of the Republican Supreme Court.

“You are evil. You have slipped in a distinction hoping we wouldn’t notice– You are capitalizing Republicans and not capitalizing democrats.”

I am just summarizing the data. Thus, the fools have self-selected themselves into high places of the Republican Party.

(from the other side of the room) “What is wrong with the Trump voters? They still put Republicans into the Senate and into the state legislatures!”

I can see what you are saying . . . . But for today, I want to approach this predicament in terms that both the Republicans and democrats in this room can use. Is that possible?

“The damned Democrats ought to repent of their sins and get right with God.”

Here, we develop English phrases to be useful for all parties

Most clear-headed people would reject your idea of Get right with God— because getting right with God is not useful in dealing with reality. But democracy includes many degrees of pure poetry, does it not? And there you are!– we will help you write your book and bring up your website on How to get right with God if you insist. The major religions growing out of that King James book bang us over the head with our [sins] and preach some [fix] for what is terribly wrong with us.

“Ok. So did you [get right with God] yet? And stop changing what we say here by putting [brackets] around our words on that transcription screen.”

I would suggest that each of you will want some indicator similar to brackets when you construct your own useful computer model for What the hell is wrong with the Democrats– or wrong with the Republicans.

“How would [brackets] help?”

Compare democrats with Republicans

When the democrats win elections, they bring back [choice] and [marriage equality] and [democracy]. But when the Republicans win elections, they bring back [Thou shalt have no other Trumps beside me] and [protect the alpha rapist] and [ship out the immigrants]. Given the nature of your own certainties, what great adventure do you have for us?– in your own book and on your own website. Toward that noble finish, we will organize volunteers here to help you do that. How can you focus all that is known?– How can you identify what is wrong with Republican morals?– like a disease of spirit with a remedy of measured effectiveness for ages from thirty to say, sixty.

“But there is a fundamental difference between [spin] and [facts].”

Sure.

“However, the Democrats invent [facts] like evolution and then spin everything to teach only evolution.”

Ok. Maybe. Do you know why democrats do that? Did your parents do that?– teach only evolution to you?

“Yes. My parents banned the Bible from our dinner table.”

Did they really?

“Well. They made clear that the Bible was wrong.”

Do you get the feeling that democrats keep reminding you that the Bible is wrong?

Consider the first author. After whom would she pattern her character God? After her king, her seducer, the father of her son, the murderer of her husband?

(from the other side of the room) “The Bible is not wrong– no more than Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet– is wrong. The first draft of the English Bible first appeared back in the time of King Solomon as just a story– maybe dark tragedy– with a main character God that the author– you say was a woman . . . . She patterned her character God after the most dynamic man in memory at that time, namely King David– recently deceased and gone to . . . .”

Rather sacrilegious wouldn’t you say?

“No, I wouldn’t say sacrilegious. I would say something more like a Saturday Night Live routine, in fun– and in loving celebration– with puns on snakes and apples and sudden nakedness. The first author shaped The Creator as loving and caring and capricious and brutal– as self-centered as the author’s lover and seducer– murderer of her lawful wedded husband to get her– and father of her son Solomon– Solomon’s father, King David– with all of the beautiful male pomposity of . . . . — of whoever magnificent comes to your mind right now.

Leonardo DiCaprio.

“Titanic.”

Similarly, what story or movie could you use to get across your best ideas for protecting whatever is valuable for you?

How about a world rescue?

“Good. What you need in your book, and on your website, is the clarity from an [allegory]– or an [algebra] that gives some real meaning to your accusation that the Republicans have some genetic defect that cripples the Republican’s morals.

What would you suggest?

“How about that good Christian allegory of [original sin]? You could use original sin to sell the idea that all men have inherited mental defects– namely the temptation to break God’s law. Hence, all men are fallen– unless they repent and are later imbued with the Holy Spirit.”

Ok. I would not mind using original sin as an allegory or an algebra– if— if that [original sin] allegory or algebra would help the Republicans avoid the temptation to destroy civilization.

“Temptation?”

From the King James book: “The Lord is longsuffering . . . , visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.” (Numbers 14:18)

Yes, you see, in the original sin model, people inherit hungers for sin that they cannot control– The simple physical example is the rising number of people that cannot control their hunger for sugar, salt, and burned fat– just a fast-food diet– so the Christians in middle America get fat– and deathly fat on their temptations.

“What you forget is that original sin applies just as much to the Democrats as to the Republicans.”

No. In this case, I did not forget. The [allegory] or [algebra] that my team needs must explain why only the democrats today have what it takes to diagnose and counteract the last eight years in the United States– placing this conversation somewhere in 2025.

“Are you convinced that only the Democrats are right?”

So, what’s wrong with Roe v. Wade?– The Roe v Wade Court taught the Republicans how to overthrow democracy– And the Republicans learned

Quite the opposite of promoting the Democratic Party– The [allegory] or [algebra] that my team needs will explain how wrong the democrats were during the years of the Roe v. Wade Court– For example, Roe v. Wade was wrong.

“Oh please! What was wrong with Roe v. Wade?”

Roe v. Wade tried to over-rule [God’s law]– contrary to the votes of democracy– democracy as in all the anti-woman votes in Texas, just for example. That is what was wrong with Roe v. Wade.

“You don’t believe in God.”

It does not matter whether I believe in God. I am neutral– and I strive to be compassionate with both those who have Republican genes and those who have democratic genes.

“Are you hinting that you are against abortion?”

I am neutral.  I am saying that Roe v. Wade was a bad engineering decision– and makes the ship of state unstable– top-heavy– with the Supreme Court hanging on for dear life– flipped from side to side at the tip top whip of the tall mast on the roiling sea.  Where is my team of engineers?  (several hands go up, but nobody speaks at this time)  Now, you see, the Republicans have learned to jam the Supreme Court with despicable justices just to protect [God’s law].

“Why do you bring up God’s law?– if you don’t believe in it.”

Because the Republicans freak at the prospect of democracy declaring that God’s law is unconstitutional.

Despite feeling good intentions, Republicans find freedom at main force by restricting the freedom of women

“Nope. I’m a Republican, and I simply insist that I must be able to live by God’s law in my life.”

And as part of your life, you insist that God’s law must reign over your neighbors, right?

“If my neighbors would be honest with their inner light, my neighbors would follow God’s law, yes– Is that what you mean?”

No. That is not at all what I mean. In my universe there is reality.

(from the back of the room) “Time. . . . Ok, now we all move into our separate caucuses– the Republicans to the far right and the democrats straight ahead through those doors.”

From all of the above, the democrats need to develop protected structures against the mechanics of the next Hurricanes [Trump]

Where do we go from here?

(from the front row) “I am a Republican. Further, I voted for Trump. Though I would love to convert you to the life of righteousness, I don’t think you will try to convert me— So I think I am safe here. I want to be in this caucus with the democrats to find something.”

What do you want to find?

“For example– what keeps pulling my children into rejecting their Christian up-bringing.”

Welcome, welcome all.

(from the side) “Why did you leave the brackets off reality in that transcript screen up there?”

The Republicans do not have a reality module in their brain.

“Do you mean?– that the Republicans cannot learn physics?”

The Republicans certainly can learn to preach anything that gets the crowd to roaring– reality be damned. Look at how the Republicans so quickly converted to preaching Mr_T’s stolen election claim– But that is just plain aping– copying the alpha that the Republicans make the center of their attention.

“And you will describe Jane Goodall’s work and the average election cycle of about six years among the chimps?”

Yes.

“Does Trump act like a chimpanzee?”

[Trump] voters will not object to the deception done by the Republican preacher

The Republicans relate to their alpha. Apparently, the Republicans have no higher moral standards for their alpha male than do the chimpanzees. The chimpanzees select– or elect– their alpha male based on who is the better at bluff and deception– that is, total Anti-reality.

“You will explain that in your book?”

My purpose is to get the democrats to take responsibility for the part of the human genome that is Republican.

“Wouldn’t it be simpler for you to write your book about advanced techniques for convincing the Republicans to be civilized?”

To Republicans, the fastest way to get a majority vote is to get just the five votes on their Supreme Court

Waste of time– trying to convince the Republicans to be civilized. It is too late for debate– The Republicans have discovered the deadly shortcut– which is, the power of jamming their religion onto the Supreme Court.

(from the corner at the back of the room) “At the break, someone mentioned the possibility of tightening your definitions and measurements– distinguishing work— from what you call work avoidance— Something like the Carnot cycle for the steam engine to distinguish work from just blowing off steam. Clearly, the Trump administration and the Republican Party of 2025 are work avoidance— just blowing off steam.”

Ok.

“But you need something measurable for work— something like [Force times the distanceMovedAgainstTheForce]– And the force you have to do work against is nature– wherever nature opposes the progress you must make.”

The power of the Garden of Eden: Recalling our ancestors’ memory of the loss of their free fruit trees eight million years ago along the eastern basin of the Congo River

Hence, the beautiful insight in Genesis– You have to till the ground with the sweat of your brow– or organize a tractor project to fix the mistakes of God and evolution. Otherwise we would starve. Where is my thermodynamics crew?

(from the middle of the room) “You should write an explanatory paper that starts from the state function of the nation– maybe the world of nations. What would be the variables of the work function W(x,y,z)?– maybe W of delta x, delta y, and delta z? And would time, t– be a variable?– otherwise how are you going to show time periods of work compared to maybe long periods of work avoidance?”

Anybody have a good idea?

(from the front row) “Actually, what I heard at the break was this idea that what you and your colleagues called the [Reagan hurricane of destruction]– now manifested in the last eight years as the Trump hurricane of destruction– is just a recurring plague in the Hamiltonian of all the probable states of energy. And in particular, this plague in the Hamiltonian manifests when the Republicans surrender to their particle nature with zero morals and zero understanding of what has possessed them.”

Hamiltonian? Do we sing rap?– and put on colonial wigs? (laughter in the room) And who will play– and who will sing– Thomas Jefferson– that role written into the Hamiltonian?

Taking away women’s rights satisfies a hunger primeval. Watch the Republicans surrender to the hunger primeval– whether the hunger is moral– or immoral.

“The Vice President saw something– but he did not comprehend [the system] of it– The whole insurrection came roaring through the halls looking for him– roaring through the passage ways and busting through the glass doors– looking to hang him– shouting ugly things with his name for all the world to hear. And he still didn’t get it?”

No, he could not lay hold with his mind on the troubling reality– even when he saw it with his eyes in real life. The Republicans knew not what they did. They were freaked– freaked just like a collection of just atoms colliding in the void– specifically, like the water and air molecules freaking into a hurricane that emerges from their particle nature– just like the blameless air and water moleculse that freak into a raging hurricane– the group of dumb molecules– the group that makes– an abrupt left turn to destroy anything civilized in its path.

The Republicans are blameless because they cannot track the cause and effect of their own action or inaction

“Now, that’s not fair. The Republicans have just as much free choice as the democrats!”

But they don’t– maybe they don’t– In contrast, the democrats have presence of mind enough to notice the self-coordination in the group– including the effects of their own actions.

“You explain away the evil in the 2025 Republicans as simple mental flaws?”

Look at the crazy amens among the Republicans to so much nonsense that The_Trump and The_DeSantis preach. Above all, let’s start with some compassion for the Republicans. Give the Republicans a break!– Within the Republican confusion, something very human happened in that January 6 insurrection. That is, the Republicans demonstrated the inability to notice that they were possessed– As a group, the Republicans were possessed by some demon– possessed by some hurricane state, latent in the group, like the dumb molecules of air and water in the whirling winds– possessed by the energy devil of the real world, and– And, if they don’t start dealing with reality, you will have to care for the broken pieces– because those Republicans are your two parents– after all they have been through . . . . No, I suggest– From the data, I would say that the Republicans have zero free choice– because they are caught in the freak of . . . .

“Freak of what?”

Group processes trap individuals and force submission, even in physical events like freezing– or in turning the innocent air and water into a destructive hurricane

Mathematically, it is just a generalized freak– trapped in the group freak of freezing– or the freak of boiling– or the freak of converting into a permanent magnet– or the freak of a hurricane forming from balmy and perfectly calm and normal molecules of just air and water– a group phenomenon passing through– having nothing to do with individual morals or missing morals– a simple phase transition in Avogadro’s number of molecules. Remember high school chemistry?

“Aqua regia!”

The Republicans’ danger to themselves is just a matter of chemistry and physics and medicine. In particular, the last eight years have manifested a thermodynamic phase transition in the morality of the Republicans– a suddenly persistent self-organizing of the Republicans into a hurricane of destruction. Witness the last eight years. What would you call it?

“And the Republicans in the hurricane phase whirl around just one alpha– one alpha at a time . . . .”

Where the alpha is a consequence of the group’s transition to the hurricane phase– compared to balmy airs and waters.

“But the individuals are personally responsible, right?”

No they are not. The Republicans are like the bawling babes just born into this world of woe. It is not fair to make Republicans responsible for what they do– Instead of scapegoating the Republicans, the democrats need to fix the system– because the democrats are able-minded.

Oblivious, Republicans feel no personal responsibility if their preacher assures them that [God or the market] did it

Hence, no personal responsibility comes to mind for Republicans. Notwithstanding their long degrees from British universities, just look at the last eight years– The Republicans cannot understand [cause and effect]– so they are incompetent at understanding what they cause. (that wry smile) Thus you see, the Republicans are innocent of what they cause. Who would have thought that the same water and air molecules of a calm and beautiful day would self-organize to propel the worst hurricanes of history?

“That is a huge condemnation of the mentality of the Republicans! And unfair!– even if you are right.”

Not really. The Republican condition is merely a latent and probable state created by the human genome– and only the democrats understand enough of [the system]– and their own influence in [the system] to protect both the Republicans and their civilization. That is reality— Accordingly, I appreciate your time in helping me think through a step-wise improvement of our ability to find out how to help the Republicans.

“I want to go back to your thesis that the Republicans are just manifesting the very probable states of the Hamiltonian– the physical Hamiltonian that explains the physics, chemistry, and medicine of the sun and all of the little creatures that find a home on earth.”

Ok. (long silence)

“Aren’t you going to give us a clue?”

(someone at the back of the room brings a folded paper to the podium)

A hidden shout hangs in the air, but unsaid: What the Hell did [Trump] voters expect!

(taking the folded paper and gesturing with it) I have lots of ideas, of course; we will talk plenty about them later, in future sessions. We will write papers.

“What are the secret messages on that paper in your hand?”

(showing the writing, in big thick letters) The message seems to be a shout: What do people expect when they vote for Republicans?– Notice please, that I did not shout. (laughter)

“Ok (mocking). What is the answer?”

Apparently, someone is writing the book and the website about that.

The filibuster

“We have a situation with the filibuster in the Senate. What should we do?”

Many people are writing different books here– so there likely will be many contrasting suggestions for dealing with the filibuster. In your book, what is the purpose of democracy?

“Under our democracy, I have the right to cast my vote for the person who will represent my point-of-view best– My point of view on choice, and marriage, and sex, and Bible readings.”

But instead of forcing my point-of-view, democracy can be the problem-solving mechanism– Getting physical, chemical, and medical work and progress from public deliberation.

Along that line, let us consider this as a moment of choice. We can continue to think of democracy as a complicated clockwork of checks and balances, based maybe on rights to vote– Or– big shift– Or we can be adults in the room– and notice that we have to help this wild [horse] of democracy to do the work that we desperately– and all the wild horses– need done. In total, we are all wild horses, and we have the choice to help each other– first, with the books that we must write from our point-of-view– (gesturing)– Let’s all help each other to get our private evidence– out there– in public scrutiny. How to save our civilization– and later, with all of our suggestions on how we could improve our books– and websites– to be more helpful.

“What, then, would be the purpose of democracy?”

Our choice. Here is one choice that we have– one choice of many. (going through the hand motions of putting the harness on the horse) Here, Horsie! Whoa, boy! (now to everyone in the room and to everyone reading this) We now and henceforth declare that the purpose of democracy (patting the horse) is to get the people to do the work that only the people can do.

“What is this work?”

Democracy, as a technology, can work against the chaos of nature– where that work must include the taming of human nature

We have peace to make– first with Iran– then in Ukraine and Afghanistan. Keep in mind that Republicans will shirk their share of the work– much like our other living cousins the chimpanzees. Apparently, God and evolution have no comprehension of what they are doing, so we have to take responsibility for our oceans and air– and mitigate whatever foolishness our cousins invent.

“How do we do all of this?”

Above all, we have to figure out how to keep the natural filibuster from blocking our working together. For example, that King James Book of Genesis is right about the Tower of Babel– God and evolution are just mindless engines of destruction of every value that we hold dear. And as a result, we have to construct political engines to push work forward against the chaos and swarming of the dumb and really dumb atoms of the Republicans and other [Trump] rallies.

“I hate politics. I am an engineer.”

Engineers of physics, chemistry, and medicine can provide us with trees of knowledge– technologies of what is possible–witness this website– giving us the power to make a choice between good and evil

Engineers, we desperately need your books– and your websites– because you will make our best measures of progress against that slippery reality of politics– actual measures– real results. As a given, we know you hate politics. Nevertheless, we need extensions, including simulations and AI, of your working wind-tunnels– how [the system] actually works– to test the feasibility and progress of what we are doing. In particular, help us measure whether we have made progress– develop measures that meet the risk management standards that you have used to make space flight reasonably safe.

“I can make flight systems safe, agreed– but then my boss comes along and says– This is a management decision— not an engineering decision.”

Notice for example, that is the filibuster, the pirate, the republican technique of externalizing costs. We will work through that Challenger shuttle explosion case in a later session. Getting back to your good-engineer dislike of politics– Did you have a better feeling when you did ranked voting?

“Yes, I did– I felt better– because when I voted for my first choice, I could vote for what I really wanted— and then for my second choice, I could vote for somebody who could still do a good job, I felt– even if my first choice never got above ten percent of the vote.”

Ranked voting might improve elections– What similar technology would improve the filibuster situation?

Despite some beloved stories of the filibuster, the filibuster is a work avoidance. Filibusters are pirates. The pirates, the filibusters, the minority take over and won’t even allow the people to vote. Hence, filibuster is an [all or nothing] tactic– an inherited chimpanzee hunger to enforce the fragile power hierarchy against the horde of the majority. Specifically, the chimpanzee tactic of filibuster works to stop democracy. In summary, the filibuster is an urge and temptation that in any modern situation serves only to stop real progress– Maybe. What do you see in filibuster?

“Progress? Are you confessing to being a progressive? In particular, don’t you remember all the times that progressives used the filibuster to keep the Republicans from destroyng progress?”

I am neutral. The Republicans likely can destroy civilization– They are aimless as the winds when possessed by the hurricane forces of their own particles and atoms colliding in the void. So we have to do something. And I am using progress as a word label for [developing and making available in a cache] a work engine– that can reduce the risk of catastrophe.

“What might be something more like ranked voting?– that might make me feel like I am not wasting my time voting.”

Maybe in today’s situation, where the Republicans are just being [religious bigots], the 2025 Senate democrats simply can suspend the rules on the filibuster– when they get the majority again. (pause, watching the audience) I notice some people frowned– I know that may sound strange– and the filibuster has a strange and jungle history. We can have a special session on that if anybody would find it useful.

“Why did you put [religious bigots] in brackets on that transcription screen?”

I use the brackets to indicate the variables– the x, y, z, and t in the algebraic formulas for the situation before us– you may substitute for [religious bigots] everywhere any unique term you find useful, and– as in any algebra– the algebraic formulas will still have the same roots, the same curvature, and the same intersections with physical reality.

Getting everyone to write a personal true book and true website could bring the highest quality evidence into the public discourse

“But don’t you by your words infuriate and insult the Republicans?– and the religious people– and maybe infuriate any God that actually is listening?” (laughter in the room)

I might use different euphemisms– all of you could help me with that translation– before I speak with a group of Republican senators about the deathly situations that the Republican Party has conjured under the Capitol Dome. But we are all democrats here, in this room– from all parties; we are working on the real problem. And we need to use physical terms, chemistry terms, and medically accurate terms– in this room, and in this room only. Because we have to describe reality– so that we can deal with it. I appreciate your help and your suggestions and corrections.

“Why do you use religious terms and Bible words? You should be using medically accurate terms, right?”

Taking a cue from our ten-year-olds, let’s try to reach the human inside our parents, our Republicans

Perhaps you have the better idea. But I offer this explanation– My ten-year-olds in the room might vouch for this very ten-year-old sneak– I hope to reach the human inside the Republicans– our own two parents upstairs– as a group and individually. The Republicans need the same care that you gave your beloved crazy parents when they lost sight of reality.

“But why would you use Christian terms?– for Christ’s sake.”  (some laughter)

Please bring to our next sessions, your own Book and website with the best terms that you find useful for managing our way through these difficulties. And we will work with you on your book and website– as you have worked with me to get clarity, thanks.

(from the back of the room) “Time. That completes today’s session. Do you have a few words to add?”

Personal statement? Yes, thanks

Yes I do have a few words to say, thank you. In the last five years, I have awakened furious in the middle of the night, realizing that democracy in America is dying.

And then I just saw this movie about an akita dog– Hachi— who lost his beloved owner. And so, to commemorate life without his beloved friend, he went every evening to the village square where the train in happier, earlier days had arrived to bring his friend from work– and the akita waited. Then, when it was night and too late, since the special person did not arrive, could not arrive–the akita trotted again to nearby shelter under a car in the train yard.

But comes back the next day, a new day, a new season– new leaves.

A Japanese samurai came by and spoke in Japanese, childhood tones to the akita dog, and the akita flicked his ears. It’s been a year now, hasn’t it, Hachi? said the samurai smiling. I wake up furious in the middle of the night– like you. Democracy was my friend too. So I know how you feel, Hachiko. He’s not coming back. I miss him too. . . . You want to wait, don’t you Hachiko? Then, you should wait. . . . And have a long life then, Hachi.

So here I am in the village square again, talking with whoever comes by. You make me feel better, and you give me hope– a different hope– a better hope.

Helpless, the Republicans surrender to their particle natures without morals whirling around the current Trump, mindlessly destroying civilization, including NOAA when it stands as science against made-up nonsense.
